Thats when she persuades her gourmeted-out friends to head over to Tangier at 1801 Lombard, a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, where the meals are simple, the service is gruff (in that welcome-to-the-neighborhood kind of way), and both the belly and the wallet stay full.
